The most important off season question for the Cowboys obviously is what can be done about Jessica Simpson? Ironically when I began researching it sounds like the problem might have solved itself as I found a gossip headline stating Tony Romo Punts Jessica Simpson . While I'm not 100% this story is true, if it is its a very good sign for next year as the Cowboys have most of their starters returning next year and have even added Zach Thomas, the veteran linebacker who should bolster this defense immediately. The Cowboys have free agency issues at running back. Both Julius Jones and Marion Barber III are free agents. It has been speculated that Jones is not going to be signed, but Barber will, although Barber has Drew Rosenhaus as his agent so that might be an interesting development to watch this off season. Its very obvious to everyone that Barber is much more talented than Jones so I doubt the Cowboys don;t get Barber back into their backfield.
The Cowboys are sitting on the #22 and the #28 picks in the first round of the NFL Draft thanks to a trade with the Cleveland Browns. It is assumed the Cowboys will draft a running back and wide receiver with these picks, adding two more potent weapons to this already potent offense. Experts are looking at the running back out of Arkansas Felix Jones, and the 6.7 receiver out of Indiana, James Hardy. Both would be excellent additions and make the Cowboys offense one of the most feared in the NFL. However there is a rumor flying around that Jerry Jones, an Arkansas Alum, is looking to trade both picks in order to move up and snag the star razorback Darren McFadden. Jerry Jones has denied the rumors saying it would cost too much to move up but stranger things have happened on draft day. A Barber/McFadden backfield would be more devastating than the best combo right now Adrian Peterson/Chester Taylor. Provided Tony Romeo can stay single for the entire season the Cowboys are poised to go far this upcoming season.
Update 4/16: The Cowboys are rumored to be after Pacman Jones from the Titans and are still attempting to resign restricted free agent Marion Barber III 2008 Football Schedule

Fantasy Top 5
1. Tony Romo QB- Romo continues to be a top tier quarterback amassing 4200+ yards, 36 TD's, 19 Int's and a QB Rating of 97.4 last year. With the offense losing no key personnel and possibly even improving I see Romo's numbers only improving next season.
2. Terrell Owens WR- Owens and Romo's relationship continues to be good which is important for both of their fantasy stats. TO even broke down to tears when the media attacked Romo for Jessica Simpson Gate after the Cowboys playoff loss last year. If things remain this way expect another big year for TO and the Cowboys.
3. Marion Barber III RB- Barber has had two good fantasy years even though he never cracked the Cowboys starting lineup until the playoffs. Its unclear what's going to happen with free agency and the draft but I expect Barber to finally start a regular season game Week 1 for the Cowboys and expect he should improve upon his 12 TD's scored last year.
4. Jason Witten TE- I will forever worship Witten based off of one play last year. Check this play out on the youtube vid below. Witten will continue to be a top tier tight end next season, very likely putting up similar numbers to last season: 96 receptions, 1145 yards, 7 touchdowns.
5. Patrick Crayton WR- Its possible one of the Cowboys draft picks will eclipse Crayton, but as of right now he's the main beneficiary of all the attention TO and Witten attract. Crayton quietly scored 7 touchdowns and as long as he don't lose his job to a first round draft pick, he should continue to score periodically.
