The Eagles and Andy Reid had a somewhat rough year last season. Reid was plagued by terrible stories about two sons, and the team itself seem to struggle not only because of that distraction, but it couldn't have helped much. Donovan McNabb, who I think was doomed since his draft day when he was loudly booed, looks like he'll be back for another up and down year with the Eagles. Brian Westbrook is one year older but still hasn't shown any signs of his aging yet. Westbrook is still the most dominant weapon the Eagles have. As mediocre as the season was the Eagle have a team capable of making the playoffs, they just need the veterans to stay healthy and their defense to perform better than they did last year.
The Eagles are sitting on the #19 draft pick in the first round. They have needs at cornerback, defensive end, and offensive tackle, however I agree with the majority of the experts and see them adding wide receiver Malcolm Kelly from Oklahoma. Kelly is said to be the most ready to start on day one of all the receivers. Kelly is a big receiver and a good route runner and while he is no TO, he still should help out greatly as it seems McNabb never has any consistent targets since Terrell Owens left.

Fantasy Top 5
1. Brian Westbrook RB- I passed on this playmaker last year thinking his nagging injuries would catch up to him last season. While I'm not entirely mad in my strategy as by trading down I got great value, I would have loved to have Westbrook on my team last year as he accrued 2100+ total yards and 12 total touchdowns, not a bad year at all.
2. Donovan McNabb QB- McNabb is a good fantasy performer as long as he stays healthy. He definitely can't run like he used to but still has enough wheels to get out of some trouble and still has potential to put up great numbers. He's a risk to draft real high but I think would make an ideal #2 QB or a great #1 QB if picked up very late.
3. Kevin Curtis WR- Curtis has become the Eagles #1 receiver and I think he will continue to be even with an addition like Malcom Kelly. I expect 1,000 yards and 4 touchdowns next year,a spot fantasy starter.
4. Correll Buckhalter RB- Buckhalter I think would be a must draft if you have Westbrook as Westbrook, not counting last year, is injury prone. Buckhalter scored 4 times last year in limited carries but has no value unless Westbrook goes down.
5. Malcolm Kelly WR- If the Eagles don't take Kelly then Reggie Brown would be in this slot. I don't expect a ton of fireworks, but Kelly might be a nice pick up late in keeper leagues. I think there's a small chance Kelly and McNabb hook up in the same manner TO and McNabb hooked up some years back.
