Superbowl Preview
Once again the hype has started again for the most watched show in the US. The legendary 18-0 New England Patriots versus the Cindarella storied New York Giants on Sunday night in Arizona. There are many great storylines but perhaps the greatest storyline is for the NFL recordbooks: will the Pats go 19-0 and finish the season undefeated. I am not a big fan of either team but I must admit I will be looking for the near two touchdown favorite to win as I know the 1972 Dolphins don't want them too. I am tied of the '72 Dolphins and a Patriot win should mean we never have to watch another Mercury Morris interview ever again. Some other great storylines we can watch for is #1 Randy Moss. Is Moss going to play like the superstar receiver we saw early in the year or will he struggle and continue to have a lackluster playoffs? Is Brady's ankle injured more than he is saying? He seems to be fine to the naked eye but he wasn't the same player after being injured in the AFC Championship game and he might need all of his mobility available to him as the great Giants pash rush should challenge that great offensive line of the Patriots. What about poor Eli? Is he going to perform after having such an inconsistent season. he definitely has turned it on as of late. Eli faced the Patriots the last week of the season and played well despite the loss. Can Eli do it again? Do the Giants even miss their star tight end Jeremy Shockey? His replacement Kevin Boss has stepped in and blocked better and has even seemed more reliable when Eli needs to check down due to apressing blitz. Will the old and bitter Tom Coughlin, who was on the chopping block last year and looked like he'd be sitting on it again near the end of this year, win a championship in New York? We will definitely see in less than a week. For my full analysis and Superbowl pick visit: Fullwrap.com But my quick opinion? Its going to be midnight soon in Arizona, and that glass slipper is not going to be slipping onto one of Coughlin's old, calloused feet anytime soon. |
